Tis’ the Season!

As I sit here typing this blog entry, I haven't bought a Christmas gift yet. I am writing this entry to brainstorm some unique and favorite gift ideas.  These gifts can be used for multiple occasions and not just for Christmas.  With Cyber Monday tomorrow, maybe some of these goodies will be on sale!

Special ornaments. I love Ornaments! Especially, when there is meaning behind them.  New baby? Newly married? or maybe a favorite city or hometown? Shoot, I've even given ornaments with pictures of my children and friends on them. You can't go wrong with giving the gift of a personalized ornament.

Speaking of personalized gifts, giving the gift of monogrammed glasses (wine, water glasses, coffee cups) or even monogrammed hand towels. LOVE them! You can buy towels and have them embroidered or you can find cute ones already made with last name initials. This can be any type of holiday towel or even neutral ones. One can never own too many monogrammed hand towels.

This next one is one of my favorite gifts of all time! A plush robe from victoria secret. This is my uniform in the winter time. Incredibly warm and super soft. It would make any girl happy.

A quality throw blanket. There is one blanket that is always fought over in our house. It is from restoration hardware and it is so soft.  I found a similar one at Macy's in the Martha Stewart Collection. This would make a great gift for any adult or even as a wedding gift. One Christmas, I had this blanket monogrammed with wedding dates and initials for my in-laws to enjoy and reminisce.

Best. Earrings. Ever. Yep, still obsessed. These Nickel and Suede, leather earrings would make a good gift for any woman or teen. They are good quality, trendy, lightweight, and very affordable. They come in a variety of colors, patterns, and sizes.

Skincare and makeup can be a tricky gift because it is so personal. However, when it comes to the eyes, I feel that is 100% okay to share your favorite eye skincare and eye makeup with a friend or family member.  These two eyes creams are a few of my favorites. One helps with brightening and hydrating the under eye area and the other helps with fine lines and wrinkles.  Another skin care product that has been key lately is a good lip serum. It helps hydrate your lips while you sleep at night.

My new favorite mascara! Better Than Sex Mascara by Born this Way.  It is a more expensive mascara, so adding it to your makeup collection would be a good gift! Great for any woman or teen.

A personalized puzzle. This can be for children and/or adults.  Send in a favorite picture and have a puzzle made from 10 to 500 pieces. A great keepsake for anyone for any occasion. We received one of our daughter as a baby when she was first born. Love.

Sock of the month club- for the man that dresses up! My hubs is obsessed with this club. It was given to him as a gift from a co-worker (boss) and the socks are super fun, good quality, and different. They have 3-6-9-12 month subscriptions.

Personalized, Handmade Pottery!  This was given to us as a wedding gift.  It has our names and wedding date on it. We use ours to hold kitchen tools and it is displayed all year long. I love it so much because it’s different and has meaning.

A ceramic veggie platter of your alma mater. This was a wedding gift to us and I use it All. The. Time. I thought it was incredibly thoughtful! If you do not have an alma mater, any favorite sports team would work!  Another alma mater gift I received was a snow globe of WVU.  It also plays the fight song! A snow globe of a favorite city would also be a great gift and keepsake. Not just any snow globe, one that has meaning to the person.
